Rouse

Christopher Rouse (born 15 February 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American composer. Last.fm has also two Rouse bands!! (See below): 1.) A Spanish hardcore punk band, active in the early 90's 2.)An Indie-folk band out of Orlando, FL --- 1.) Rouse was a side-project of the guys from H.H.H., a big name in the Spanish hardcore punk scene. Under this name they released an album ("Deep Wound", 1993) and two EPs ("It's Funny" and "Does Rouse Suck?") for Rumble Records, both released in 1996 despite they were recorded in 1991. In 2004, long after their split, Shortfuse Records compiled the material from the EPs on a vinyl-only release ("Deep Inside, 16 Songs EP"), and in 2005 Rumble Records rereleased all of the Rouse material as "Discography" CD. More info on Rouse at: http://www.freewebs.com/rousehardcore 2.) Rouse formed in 2007 when guitarist/vocalist Jon Serluco teamed up with Alex Pax to form a band. After a few impromptu jam sessions at alex's house, Rouse was born on a cool October day. Performing at various venues in the University of Central Florida area Rouse finally broke out and started playing around downtown Orlando. Over the last two years Rouse has performed at many different places ranging from Hookah bar's to the UCF arena to the Hard Rock Live. Recently they put out their debut album, "Country Breakfast". The CD was well received by fans and is available at Park Ave CD's in Orlando as well as the bands myspace (http://www.myspace.com/bandofrouse) Currently the band of Rouse is undergoing a bit of a transformation. After this short hiatus, they'll be back and better than ever! Current Members: Jon Serluco (Vocals, Harmonica, Rhythm Guitar) Dan Lacey (Keys) Chris Vallone (Bass) Former Members: Alex Pax (Guitarist) Cris Echeguren (Keys) Dylan Osborne (Keys) Robert Ruffner (Drums) Vishal Gulati (Drums)
