B Caps
B-Cap started in the summer of 1994 with female vocalist called Aquilla and a DJ ragga-rapper called Prento. The two artists before had some difficulties releasing singles as solo artists. The producers were Cris Craft and Michel Jean.
On January 19th 1995 the single Send Me An Angel (a remake of a song by Real Life) was released under Koch International. The single was an instant dance hit all over Europe. It made #20 on DMC January 1995. Released in April 1995 in the USA, the single hit # 23 on Billboards Dance Charts. Released in Canada in May 1995, the single gained much airplay and bold request. It sold more than 5,2 million copies in Europe alone and received many gold discs and awards.
However, after the success of their first single, the group had to split up, due to legal issues with Real Life. This was the first and last hit the group would ever release.
