KS

ks is Fabien Lasserre, a french artist producing electronic music since 1996. At first called Ko-Seïshin, he quickly switched alias for ks around 2000, date when his music style changed from Techno to Experimental/IDM. His main influences come from artists such as Autechre, Björk and Alec Empire. He quickly founded the netlabel Nashmeja, where he released, with artists such as Crud, Troublemaker, Euji Acha and Celsius, several tracks freely available on the internet including two LPs: "Affecting Your Real-Life" (1998) and "Music For Adults" (2000). He signed on this label under three different aliases: ks, Deme, and Larren Klark. In 2003 he released an IDM EP called "Teirce" on Enough Records. Since then he's been preparing a new side project, unrevealed to this date. His work, as well as the entire Nashmeja material, is available throught the Scene.org and OpenBSD archive repositories.
