Artur Grigoryan (Saxophonist)

Artur is the award winning saxophonist and composer. Graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory with BA in music and studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA). He formed “Art Voices” ethno-jazz group and won a Grand prize at 2009 Bucharest International Jazz Competition. As a sideman he appeared at Yerevan, Kavkaz, Bucharest and Paris jazz festivals. As well as World- music festivals in Germany, Poland and Austria (with Reincarnation band). Currently residing in Dubai he works as the member of Music Hall band at the most famous music show in the Middle East and the North Africa. He is also one of the founders of A.R.S trio which recorded its debut album “Time” in 2014. The same year Artur got an invitation to participate at Kavkaz jazz Festival with A.R.S trio. From 2015 he cooperats with the Indian ethno jazz fusion band “Voyage” with which he participated at NH7 Bacardi Weekender Festivals and toured in Mumbai Calcutta Pune and Bangalore. Also, they played in Oslo and other European cities. In 2000 he recorded and released the first full-length album under his name. “Good Intension” album was presented already in Dubai, Moscow and now the turn of Yerevan comes.
