Chloe Brisson

Chloe Brisson is a fifteen year old emerging Jazz vocalist who has thrilled audiences with her gift of song and savvy stage presence. At an early age, it was clear that Chloe had a knack for singing and she began thrilling local audiences at the young age of 10. Since that time, Chloe has attended Interplay Jazz Camp each summer where her repertoire and talent have blossomed. She is a avid student of theory, piano, jazz history and breath work to support her increasing talent. She recorded her debut CD entitled "RED DOOR SESSIONS", in December of 2007 at the age of 13. Completed in a mere 4 hours, the compilation CD was received with much acclaim and amazement at her deep tones and smoky intonations. Her strong hearfelt vocals and enthralling Vibrato pull the listener back in time to old jazz favorites Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. Her CD features Jazz greats Matt Wilson, Fred Haas, John Carlson and Chris Lightcap. Throughout the years, Chloe has worked with Jazz legends Sheila Jordan, Dianne Reeves, Karrin Allyson and Dena DeRose. Chloe has a natural gift for expressing emotion through music and has developed the ability to free flow with musicians of many talents. She truly embraces the art of Jazz where the connection with the band and the audience are palatable in her performances. Chloe has performed for packed audiences throughout the NH and VT region, including First Night Burlington and the Burlington Waterfront Festival. She also has donated many evenings of wonderful jazz entertainment to local charities and fundraisers. In addition to her vocal bookings, Chloe's television debut was in 2006 when she was cast to host a PBS DRAGONFLY TV program entitled "Water Pressure". She heads to Carnegie Hall this spring with her school choir for a full performance of Dona Nobis Pacem. http://chloebrisson.com/
