Drawing inspiration from folk, rock and classical East Indian styles, Rani Chatoorgoon has weaved a musical tapestry all her own in her debut album Illusions of Loneliness. Growing up in Deep River, Ontario, this self-taught musician found her true passion early on, singing and playing a variety of instruments at a young age. Influenced by the likes of Sarah McLachlan, Evanescence and Within Temptation, Rani began molding her own sound in university, performing her original material live and discovering that it really resonated with audiences. Now, with Illusions of Loneliness, she's taking her dream to the next level. It seems like this rising Canadian star is just getting started.
