I Cantori Moderni Di Alessandroni

I Cantori Modern, was an eight-to-sixteen person vocal group from Italy, featuring famous singers such as Edda Dell’Orso, Giulia De Mutiis, Gianna Spagnuolo, Augusto Giardino, and Franco Cosacchi. They worked together on several occasions with Alessandroni, an accomplished whistler, who can be heard quite famously on numerous Ennio Morricone western soundtracks. He was, for example, responsible for the world famous twangy guitar riff that is central to the main theme for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
