Ana Zimmer

Pianist and singer training, Ana Zimmer winning of the contest Inrocks lab in 2015, signed a first electrifying and elegant single. Abandoning the traditional instruments for electronic keyboards and other triturations boxes, she holds in his voice the most valuable and most enviable instrument. His melodies at once melancholy and dance influences blend of electronic pop, but also more urban on which his languid voice asks gently. Ana, was born in Paris and grew up in an environment where music holds a very important place. His mother's family filled with classical musicians and plastic artists give it at a young age a very particular vision of aesthetics. At the age of 19, Ana began writing his lyrics and music in order to do his job. During the three years that followed, she worked on numerous commercials and film projects while seeking his musical identity. With 26 years only, she already appears in his notebook of artistic collaborations prestigious names like Benjamin Biolay, Aufgang, Antipop (a member of Télépopmusik) and more recently Jabberwocky, to whom she offered her voice on the title Fog - taken from their first album. Having signed to trendy Parisian label, Choke Industry, alongside the likes of Lilly Wood & The Prick, she’s ready to release her own material.
