Mavr Mkrtchyan

Mavr Mkrtchyan  (  August 3  ,  1990  ,  Javakhk  ,  Samtskhe-Javakhet region  ,  Georgian SSR  ,  USSR  ), Armenian  composer  , folk singer. Mavr Mkrtchyan was born in the village of  Merenia ,  Akhalkalaki region   , on August 3, 1990 . After graduating from the vocal and theoretical departments  of the music school named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky, he was admitted to the choir of  the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas , and from the following year he studied together in the composition departments .  After completing the bachelor's degrees in orchestration and composition departments, he continued his studies in the master's degree in composition department. He was the second prize-winner and winner of the "People's Singer" project .  He was awarded a special jury prize at the "Solar Rain" competition-festival, which took place in 2003. Mavr Mkrtchyan gave concerts in  Georgia  and  Russia  .  His first solo concert in Yerevan took place in 2013.  He participated in the TV project "People's Singer" and won the 2nd prize.  Since 2012, he has been working in  the State Chamber Choir  of Armenia .  Mavr Mkrtchyan's first CD was released in 2014. He is the author of a number of classic works and songs.
