Lukas Graham (born in 1988) is a Danish musical act signed to Copenhagen Records. Luke Graham is a Danish-Irish artist whose father was a folk singer. Luke was a child star playing Grunk in "Krummerne" (Danish movie hit in the 90'ies). Graham started writing songs and performing, and recorded a number of demos in New York and assembled a solid band around them. The band's soulful and funky sound quickly spread in the Copenhagen underground and through online postings which attracted the record industry to sign them. Lukas Graham found commercial success in October 2011 with the release of their debut single on the Danish Singles Chart called "Ordinary Things" that reached #10. They followed it up with "Drunk in the Morning" that reached #3 on its first week of release in February 2012. The songs were recorded at BackBone Studio.
