Puma

Puma is an improvisational group based in Trondheim, Norway, who play music drawn from rock, noise, elektronica and jazz. Puma consists of Stian Westerhus on guitar, Gard Nilssen on drums, and Øystein Moen on synthesizers. Their music can be described as energetic and intense. Puma has played a number of shows in and outside of Norway, and has been presented as some of the biggest talents of new Norwegian improvised music. The 19. of march 2007 Puma released the record Isolationism on Bolage Records. It was recordet at Audiopol sound studio in Skien with Audun Kleive in june 2006. Their second album is called Discoteque Bitpunching, and was released in 2008. In 2007 Puma collaborated and toured with sound artist Lasse Marhaug. Links: Myspace profile Official Homepage
