Claire Denamur

Claire Denamur was born February 17, 1984 to French and Dutch father and a Ukrainian and Argentinian mother. Claire Denamur spent part of her adolescence in New York. She returned to France at age 12. Her songs are characterized by lyrics about relationships. Her music has country, folk and blues influences. She was noticed by a producer on Myspace. After that, she went on her first French tour with Bensé, Renan Luce and La Grande Sophie. Her first single, Le prince charmant, met with great success. Her eponymous first album was released in 2009 and her sophomore album, Vagabonde, was released in 2011.
