Thomas Hanreich

Born in 1972, Thom started his career with the successful rock band Vivid in 1991. The band released 3 studio albums on virgin records. Vivid won the important Echo award in 1998. His first solo album in 2003. The critically acclaimed "Gods&Monsters", was written and produced by him. He also played all the instruments on the record. In 2004, he wrote the song "Principle Of Joy" which was used in BMW's world wide campaign for the new Series 1 model. Also in 2004 he worked on his first feature film soundtrack for Wim Wenders' "Land Of Plenty". In 2005 he wrote the main song for Ralf Huettner's film "Reine Formsache". He also worked on a charity album for Tsunami and HIV victims in Thailand. The album was recorded in the jungle in Chiang Mai and featured a number of well known German musicians. He co-wrote one of the mains songs for 2010 smash "Vincent will meer". He recently wrote the original music for Wim Wenders' breathtaking documentary " Pina Soundtrack" which premiered at Berlinale Film Festival in 2011. He wrote the original score for "Joschka und Herr Fischer", a documentary by Oscar winning director Pepe Danquart together with fellow musician Sebastian Padotzke.
