Christopher "Strangelove" Spraggins, lead singer and song writer of Silver Black Summer Day was in born in Rochester, New York on 1-3-1954, and I am still alive and kicking. Silver Black Summer Day was recorded at PCI Studios in Rochester, New York in 1973, and released that same summer. Influences were, Mandrill, Ohio Players, Osebia (funk group from Africa) Erath , Wind and Fire ect... I formed the group in 1970 and the group broke up in 1976.
