Break Reform

Break Reform, based in London, released their debut album, 'Fractures' in 2003. It was one of the biggest selling underground albums from the U.K that year. Receiving licenses in Japan and Spain and re-pressed 4 times, the beautifully simple lyrics of Nanar and the streetwise and sublime production skills of JJ and Simon S hit a true chord with the record buying cognoscenti. With a cross genre appeal with deep, meaningful and charismatic studio atmosphere, it was truly a magnificent and timeless piece that created the perfect antidote for faceless and uninspiring dance music.Comparisons with Portishead, Massive Attack, Koop and Zero 7 were a touch obvious because the truth is that Break Reform fit a niche and musical habitat of their own.
