Lilit Manaryan

I am Lilit from Yerevan, an artist, flutist, film director and fantasy writer. As an artist, I am experienced in illustrating fairy tales, fantasy literature and drawing comics, including the ones based on the scenarios written by me. I have a non-stop 19 years work experience in these fields, since as a child I have already worked on my father's - famous director, writer and musician Krist Manaryan's projects for kids. From 2011 to 2013 I have completed the comic art courses at APBDA in Yerevan, Armenia and in Angoulême, France. My short comic stories have won the 1st prizes at Yerevan International Comics Festival (2011) and at Angoulême International Comics Festival (2012). I have illustrated more than 90 autor and classical fairy tales and poems for children. Also, I am the concept artist and illustrator of more than 50 musical animation films ("Multi-pulti aybuben" (2014), "What I shall become" (2015). In 2013 I finished my first short movie called "Solo", in which I played, and which I was the scriptwriter and the director of. The film won the 1st Prize at Nofi International Film Festival as The Best Short Film. In 2015 I held 3 personal exhibitions under the same title "Lilit And The Dreams". I combine different techniques like watercolor and ink pen, pencil and graphic effects, focused on mostly expressive colors. As a musician, I am Master Of Arts (Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory 2009-2015) and work in Ministry of Defence of Republic of Armenia as a Senior Flutist in General Office Military Orchestra. In work process I am flexible, understanding, creative, humorous and strongly responsible ;)
