Mats Öberg
Now keyboard player for Mats/Morgan Band, Mats Oberg first started playing music at the age of 11 alongside his drummer friend and fellow virtuoso, Morgan Agren. Their playing around this time was hugely influenced by Frank Zappa; indeed they were both noticed by Zappa, but the enigmatic genius did not have a chance to use Mats or Morgen in his band before his death. In the mid 90s a solid line up was found for the Mats/Morgan band (Robert Elovsson-keyboards, Jimmy Agren-guitar, Tommy Thordsson-bass and Morgan-drums), and touring commenced. They remain relatively unheard of. Mats also releases solo works.
