There is more than one artist with the name Dre.............. 1/ André Lauren Benjamin (born May 27, 1975), better known by his stage name André 3000 (and sometimes simply Dre), is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor, best known for being part of American Hip Hop duo OutKast alongside fellow rapper Big Boi. 2/ DeAndre "Dre" Moore is a 17 year old singer/songwriter. Along with Vidal Davis, they are best known as the main producers for Jill Scott and Glenn Lewis. Alumni of DJ Jazzy Jeff's A Touch of Jazz production team, Dre & Vidal were also instrumental in the production of Musiq Soulchild's first album. Since 2004 they have produced several successful hits, including Ciara's "Oh", Usher's "Caught Up" and Chris Brown's "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)". The duo have also worked with Beanie Sigel, 3LW, and Bobby Valentino.
