Bayku

Bayku Ribeiro, originally born in Philly, moved to Ghana, Africa with his family at an early age where he began his musical career. Bayku started off rapping, blending American hip-hop with cultural influences from Ghana. He was a member of the Talkin' Drums, who quickly blew up as the most popular rap group in the country. After reaching the top of the rap game in Ghana, Bayku returned to the States to further pursue his career. He attended and graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, choosing Atlanta for its huge and diverse hip-hop scene. In addition to rapping, Bayku began to develop his singing, songwriting, and producing skills as well. Bayku has said himself to be a cross of Bob Marley, Tupac, and Lauryn Hill. He has worked with many major artists already: Rich Boy, UGK, Lil Jon, Jazze Pha, Akon, Polow da Don, and Outkast to name a few. He is currently the frontrunner and CEO of Warrior Music, based in Atlanta. His home studio is ZAC Recordings, where he currently does much of his work. Bayku plans on releasing his first official single in the near future.
