Hain Teny

Hain Teny 2006. With numerous smaller tours during 2005. spent travelling throughout the region, gaining new fans and contacts, promoting their firstborn “ROBA” and announcing, at the time still in production, their new material titled “Haintelligence” and handful of brand new projects scheduled for 2006. Hain Teny takes another chance with Ammonite Records and is due to publish their second edition by beginning of 2006. It is important to say that the most obvious difference between these two materials lays in the overall production that has reached remarkable levels, where two years of work put into it contribute to the fact. As idea makers, producers, musicians, sound coordinators, writers, MC’s and DJ, Hain Teny (Ra-Muf, DJ Dee, MG Gost and Veliki Zupan) have collaborated with some of the most creative people making the story of HT collective-: Petar Savic aka PS (producer/sound engineer, guitars, keybords), Marko Labat (keyboards), Damir Bacakin (trumpet), Fireman MC, Raskovic Dusan aka Rasha Perkasha (percussions), DJ Alex J (turntables), Sinisha Ponjevic (VJ), Milos Pusic (‘alter cut video’ video production and direction) and Dragan Babic (webmaster). Apart from the hit single Pitanja?, released early on V.A. Definicija compilation in December 2004 for the independent production label Black and White, and ‘*Scratch Theory*’ (by DJ Dee) that promotes the website, recently they’ve released their third single. It is the remix single for the track ‘*Reci su MALE*’ followed with the video clip as for the previous two. Among numerous guests on their new album ‘*Haintelligence*’ we will point out the collaboration with: Koyot (Eyesburn), Suid, Dual (Focus 51), DJ Ahmad (Stylin’ Crew), DJ Venom , DJ Ape, DJ UCE (Shazalakazoo) and Kamillion and Rochester (*Abstract Art* / Germany). This time the album was released according with desired number of copies and distribution conditions, but only with the assistance of donators, sponsors and friends of the band who stood behind this project, willing to participate in its making. They are Beat Box radio 92,9 fm, EXCENTAR (Extreme Sports Equipment & Tourist Agency), Daniel Print, Aero X3M (pilot school), District Secretariat for Sports and Youth, Green Youth Novi Sad, Novi Sad Music Youth, Interteks (textile wholesaler), IPS (music store) and off course Ammonite Records (record label). Through numerous collaborations, came the idea of constructing a recording studio named Apartment Sounds. Zekson 5, a famous crossover band from Novi Sad directly participated in its construction. It is common knowledge that most of the cities in Serbia and Montenegro do not have a proper record company, or the agency or musicians association capable of coping with the state in which the music industry in Serbia, burdened with years of devastation, has gotten into. Therefore, there is nobody in the country to enable the survival and continuity of musicians and bands, establish connections across Europe and the world, and acquire legitimate licences. Among musical genres such as drum’n’bass, electro, break beat, hip-hop, dancehall and many alike, being in expansion for the past 5 years, globally acknowledged DJing and MCing and live performances of the authors work sequencing over computer software still are not officially accepted and therefore inexistent. HT with their friends and collaborators, mostly part of the HT collective, organized as group of citizens, have established a unique NGO named Supreme Factory. Its primary interests are publishing, licensing of artists, organization of concerts and workshops, lectures on new skills in playing music and music software, getting familiar with new tendencies in music and exchanging experiences with musicians from the region. Specific sound Hain Teny developed over the years, was nothing less to expect being said by the band themselves when the first album was released that ‘its time is yet to come’. It gained greater appreciation with musicians and critics, something fans stated long ago. Continuous work made room for several different projects, that were gaining shape side by side with the album Haintelligence, and right time for their realisation is the following year 2006. Compilation of remixes, created over the years by Smoking J, since the very beginnings of HT in 2001 to this day counts over 20 remix tracks of various performers from the country and abroad. Latest edition of Obojeni Program “da li je to covek ili je masina” carries two of Smoking J’s (Ra-Maf’s) remixes Braunovo Kretanje and Sve je Uredu. This compilation is a premier edition for another member of HT collective. Some of the fresh projects queuing for their realisation are HT’s jazzy / hip-hop project mastered and produced by MG Gost and Ra-Muf and titled Saith Seein’ , then album “Done”, and dancehall/reggae project of HT collective/Trla Baba Lan in the Babylon, created in collaboration with Fireman MC (Subotica), DJ Ahmaad (Stylin’ Crew – Sarajevo) and Koyot (Eyesburn – Beograd). “De Mufi Dead” and “Trla Baba Lan” are two of the singles that have already made a break through. Speed and dynamics of their creativity in music brought many people together and it is important to mention some of their colleagues and collaborators on projects and albums: D-Fence , Fast Flows, Suid, Focus 51, DJ Double B , DJ Cell D, Modern Quartet , Trip-Air , V.A. Provera Mikrofona, Big Boss and Frizby. Inertia of Hain Teny’s creativity has reached a profound effect and crossed the borders of Serbia and Montenegro and since April, immediately after their first promotional campaign for the new album Haintelligence greater regional and international tour is scheduled.
