Bernhard Schimpelsberger

British-Austrian percussionist Bernhard Schimpelsberger grew up deeply rooted in jazz and western classical music, but it was his studies in Indian classical music with Tabla master Suresh Talwalkar that has shaped his unique outlook on music. The percussionist has toured the world with his band Circle of Sound and has collaborated with Anoushka Shankar, Nitin Sawhney, Soumik Datta, Talvin Singh and Susheela Raman among others. www.bernhard.co.at
