Sofia Pettersson

Sofia has over 10 years of music education consisting of Grammar school, Jazz school and The University of Music. She began to sing jazz in 1987. Started her first jazz band in 1990. Released her first cd in 1998, second in 2002 and the latest in 2004. She began to write her own music in 1992 and recorded her first jazz demo with the pianist Jan Lundgren in 1994, which lead her to make her first cd in 1998. Her first cd consisted of mostly of her own music. The next cd "Slow Down" includes only covers from different genres, made in a jazzy way. The latest cd "That's Amore" includes four of her own songs and six covers. Her plans for next cd is to record only her own music.
