Double Trouble

There are several artists who use this name: 1) Double Trouble is a blues band featuring Chris Layton on drums and Tommy Shannon on bass, Stevie Ray Vaughan's former rhythm section aka Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. They also played with many other bands and artists from the Texas blues rock scene, e.g. with Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton as the Arc Angels, and released the session album Been A Long Time with some of these artists under their name. -- 2) Double Trouble were successful dance record producers, artists and remixers in the house and hip house scene during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group consisted of members Karl Brown, Leigh Guest and Michael Menson and first rose to prominence through their collaborations with Rebel MC on the Polydor/Desire releases "Just Keep Rockin'" and "Street Tuff", which reached numbers 5 and 1 respectively on the UK Indie Chart in 1989. The group released an album As One which spawned the hits "Don't Give Up", "Talk Back" and "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" - a cover of the Rose Royce classic. New interest in "Just Keep Rockin'" in December 2007 saw it re-enter the UK Dance Chart at #32. -- 3) Double Trouble is a Korean hip-hop duo formed in 2009 featuring Basick and InnoVator. -- 4) A Russian hardcore punk band founded in 2007, see the Russian wiki for more details. -- 5) A noise music producer.
