About this album

Gare du Nord is a Dutch-Belgian jazz duo, originally consisting of Doc (Ferdinand Lancée) and Inca (Barend Fransen). Doc played guitar and Inca plays saxophone, while both perform vocals. As of 2011, this is no longer true - see below. History edit: 2001-2005 edit: Dutch guitarist Ferdinand Lancée (real surname: Dousenbach) and saxophone player Barend Fransen (born January 4, 1959 in Helmond) started working together in 2001, when they started writing lounge music in Belgium.
