Lusine (Svetlana) Abetovna Zakarian - People's Artist of Armenian SSR State Prize of Armenia. She was born in g.Ahaltsihe (Georgia) 1937g.v family rich in musical tradition. Grandfather (mother's), a close friend of the great Chaliapin sang once, even at the Bolshoi Theatre; talented musician was the elder brother of the future singer. In 1952. Zakarian family moved to Yerevan. Lusine entered a music college, and after his graduation in 1957. passing only one exam - on the Department of Vocal Conservatory. Komitas. A talented singer, which were available all the song genre, has developed a wide repertoire, which included the Armenian classics, ancient Armenian folk songs and hymns, a wide range of works by Russian and Western composers, and has gained wide popularity not only in Armenia but also far beyond outside the country.
